You know I love to see this... frankly, ISU was just throwing pies in the sky. When students like me tried to get involved with the research aspect or sign up for whatever training they planned to offer, I got crickets. Sadly, this was an administrative boondoggle best put to rest.

Thank you Glenneda for your diligence in holding those accountable for misuse of taxpayer funds. You are one of the few in our state government that cares about this sort of thing. They who are guilty of misuse should be at the least relieved of their positions and at most prosecuted for fraud.

Dear Senator,

The misappropriation of public funds is a cancer upon the country as a whole and ignored by many. Hundreds of millions of federal taxpayer dollars are wasted by BLM killing, maiming and traumatizing wild mustangs and wild burros, 2 of 3 alleged protected species by Congress. The wild burros and mustangs are being rounded up, relocated to private lands then on to killing plants where they are made into food-all at federal taxpayer expense. The federal public lands are then being taken over for mining, destroying the public rangeland and again the federal taxpayers pay for it all. Gotta love government corruption at its finest! Keep exposing the fraud, maybe someday someone will care enough like you to fix it.

Horrific, Chris Milstead. Perhaps you could offer up some bills for Idaho legislators so they can address at least some of this on Idaho lands. Then, adjust as needed and send to your Idaho federal legislators.

Give legislators and watchdogs the ammunition (no pun intended) that they need to do something about these egregious situations.

Submit examples to DOGE with links and evidence so Elon and Vivek can investigate and shut down these abuses. (Couldn't find contact info yet.)

Also, submit any state-related wasteful spending to Idaho Freedom Foundation's Pork Report page: https://idahofreedom.org/24pork/

Hi and thanks for the comment. Federal taxpayers receive roughly $1.35 month per cow and calf on BLM grazing leases, while the taxpayers have to pay roughly $5.00 a day per head to private lands owners to store the wild mustangs and burros once removed from public lands. That excludes the multi million dollar contracts paid by taxpayers to round up the animals where they are tortured, maimed and often killed. BLM HAS A SUBSTANTIAL DISINFORMATION CAMPAIGN they use to manipulate the public. In Project 2025, it is mentioned they want to euthanize 80,000 horses. The public lands can now be mined. The horses are native species to the western hemisphere, not what BLM will tell you. The taxpayers have shelled out billions of dollars systematically destroying a national treasure and will never reap a dime of the mining and water rights taking from public lands. No one really cares. Water is being taken to cool the AI supercomputers industry like what the State Idaho tried this past year.

Great job, Sen. GZ! Thanks to you and IFF for due diligence in this matter.

But I do have a question: Was the original expenditure of $900K for the now-defunct East Idaho Forensic Pathology Center (EIFPC) project within the proper role of government? My guess is NO.
