LS Power Doubling Down with 25K to Idaho Prosperity Fund

While researching the Idaho Sunshine Reports for a topic unrelated to Magic Valley Energy / LS Power—a corporation actively seeking to use Idaho Public Lands in Jerome and Twin Falls County for installing nearly a thousand 700-foot wind turbines—I discovered a $25,000.00 contribution from LS Power to the Idaho Prosperity Fund PAC, which is the financial arm of the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry (IACI).

To all my fellow residents of the Magic Valley, I want to emphasize that this battle is far from over. We must remain vigilant in protecting and defending our Idaho lands. The Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry (IACI) wields significant influence over many legislative and executive branch elected officals. In my Substack article 'David and Goliath,' I exposed this influence, which I believe is one of the reasons Senator Winder removed me from my position as Vice Chair on Health and Welfare.

Idaho State Code 74-402 states that it is my responsibility to inform citizens about personal interests and to prevent the office from being used for personal gain, which would be contrary to the public interest.

I accomplished this when I exposed the $10 million in misappropriations within Health and Welfare, a figure that has now risen to $38 million. I also did so by sharing information about whom and what the Idaho Association of Commerce and Industry (IACI) works for and endorses. I will continue to expose the activities within your Idaho State Government, regardless of any retaliation I might face. You are my people, and I am yours!

Will your Governor and state representatives stand and hold the line with Idaho citizens, or will they align with large corporations that aim to use our lands and tax dollars for their own agenda and benefit?
