With only 16 days remaining until the Primary Election, I am slowing down just enough to send an email. I feel like a vagabond, wandering from place to place, barely finding time to rest in my home, which I have scarcely had time to clean and enjoy.
I want to thank all of you who have reached out to me and defended me against the lies appearing on your TV screens and doors. It heartens my soul to know that so many are not deceived and know me well enough to come to my defense. You will soon see a short 30-second commercial on the local news. It is quite costly to disseminate the truth, and I am operating on a very tight budget, making it challenging to do so.
Lies vs Truth
Lie: I do not support Veterans.
Truth: I am the daughter of a Korean War Veteran, and both my sons are Veterans of foreign wars. Additionally, various family members have served in every war from World War 1 onwards. I am a lifetime member of the VFW Auxiliary. My motto is, "When one family member serves, the entire family serves." My love and support for our veterans run very deep.
The accusation being made pertains to an appropriation bill on which I voted no. The issue with our government today is its proficiency in expanding and funding government bureaucracy at the expense of our veterans
Lie: I do not support our Police.
Truth: This is simply my response to the accusation of not supporting veterans. Once more, this accusation stems from an appropriation bill that allocated more funding to bureaucracy and, in my opinion, allocated little to those who are on the front lines protecting our cities, counties, and state. In Idaho, nothing gets defunded. If we were to defund anything, our budget would not have grown by 52 percent in the last five years.
Lie: I am against Ag.
Truth: Once again, this pertains to an appropriation bill. We forfeit local control each time we utilize Federal funds. If you doubt this, simply observe the ongoing battle over our public lands, where the federal government sanctions the installation of wind and solar projects, compelling the state to comply with the green energy agenda. Another instance is the allocation of CARES money we received from the federal government; we declared a state of emergency with zero cases merely to obtain indebted federal funds, relinquishing local control over travel, business operations, and individual health choices. The same scenario applies to every dollar we accept from the federal government to aid in our water infrastructure; it inevitably results in the loss of local control. That's why I voted against any appropriation linked to our water. If they control the water, they control our agricultural sector (our food source), and ultimately, they control the people.
Lie: I am not worried about our borders:
Truth: I sponsored a memorial, HJM 11, which conveyed a strong message to Congress to impeach President Biden. However, this bill failed in the House due to a tied vote. The reason being a weaker memorial from the Senate, which prioritized protecting the illegal immigration workforce, was gaining traction.
Despite assurances that we could vote on both memorials, I knew better. Once SJM102 passed, HJM 11 would inevitably die. It's high time we took a firm stance on our borders. Without secure borders and elections, we risk losing our country. Unfortunately, our apathy and lack of courage are contributing to this erosion.
Who is funding these lies? This is indeed an intriguing tale. During the last session, I was informed by fellow legislators that Governor Little sought the removal of five conservative senators. The names provided were mine, Senator Trakel, Nichols, Lenney, and Herndon. I suspect he has his sights set on more than just five of us. You can draw your own conclusions as to why. In my opinion, it's because we prioritize serving the people of Idaho rather than the executive branch and those who sponsor and contribute to the Friend of Brad Little PAC
When I ran in 2022, I promised I wouldn't expand government or increase spending, and I would vote against wasteful expenditures. I fulfilled those promises. Despite knowing that my votes often didn't sway outcomes due to our alphabetical voting system, I remained committed. As all of you are my employers, I believe we should discuss our budget. With our current $13.9 billion budget, 43 percent of which comes from the federal government, contributing to our national debt growing by $1 trillion every 100 days, what would you like me to do? What areas would you like to see cut when nearly half of our funds are reliant on federal allocations? Would it not be prudent for us to exercise discipline now, reducing unnecessary expenses, to better weather the financial challenges on the horizon?
I am committed to the battle before us, fully understanding the cost of sacrificing our lives, fortunes, and sacred honor, as articulated by our Founders in the Declaration of Independence. As President Trump once remarked, “They are not coming after me, they are coming after you, I am just in the way.”
Consider this: I played a role in exposing $10 million of misappropriation in Health and Welfare, a figure that has now ballooned to $71 million and is under criminal investigation. It begs the question: Why did the whistleblower approach me and not the other 104 legislators I serve with? Because I let the lobbyist know, I was about exposing corruption.
And here’s another thought: Despite the barrage of targeted ads, why has the Idaho Liberty PAC not directed its attention towards other legislators in our Magic Valley, such as Senator Hartgen (R), Senator Taylor (D), Rep. Dixon (R), Rep. Miller (R), Rep. Nelson (R), and Rep. Burns (D)? Could it be that they are not perceived as threats to the agenda of special interests?
Am I the lone champion truly dedicated to serving the people and safeguarding our individual rights and state sovereignty? I leave that judgment to you.
Truth bombs all the way 💣💣!
You're 💯 supported by anyone who is awake, principled, and not apathetic. And, you are well-supported in my little voter guide, which tries to help people dig out the truth and resist the lies (short URL): https://tinyurl.com/yh8jhppm
Thank you and the others smeared by the so-called "Idaho Liberty PAC." You stand for true liberty when so few will.
Thank you Glenneda! I live in Idaho County, and I support you in rejecting ANY & ALL FEDERAL FUNDING. Joe Briben and his minions can POUND SAND!
